All about Multani Mitti or Fuller’s Earth

Multani Mitti or Fuller’s Earth is a clay substance and contains bentonite. It is the base for most facepacks.

I strongly believe it is a miracle for the skin! It has been used since ages to achieve glowing and blemish free skin. This clay not only cleans & exfoliates skin but is also absorbs oil, dirt, sweat and other impurities from the skin.

Multani Mitti is very effective in reducing tan and evening out the complexion when used regularly. Moreover, applying this pack is known to improve blood circulation, thus, revealing a glowing complexion!

Also, apart from all these advantages, I love using multani mitti packs in summers since it has a cooling and soothing effect as it absorbs heat!

There are a lot of other benefits apart from all of these, like, its use in laundry, as warm or cold compress, use in hairpacks, as an antiseptic, etc.

This clay can be used as a base in many natural beauty preparations and most importantly it is relatively inexpensive and easily available. But, do make sure you purchase only good quality clay.

Also, this clay is not suitable for dry skin.  So, if you have dry skin, make sure you are using this with other ingredients which offset the dryness and provide moisture to the skin like almond oil, fresh cream (Malai), etc.
